Keep Wisconsin Open for Business Fundraiser

Title: Keep Wisconsin Open for Business Fundraiser
Location: Petra’s Restaurant, West Allis, Wisconsin
Description:
We have suffered through a decade of overspending and an anti- business climate in this state. The result was a multi-billion dollar whole in our state budget, over $2,000 per tax payer. The liberals wanted to raise taxes on us all to that tune so that they could preserve the big salaries, pensions health benefits, dental, sick days, vacation days, days off, early retirements and on and on. We would pay for this while at the same time kids in Milwaukee can’t read by 10th grade. Why should public employees get better salary and benefits than we do? Senators Mary Lazich and Rich Zipperer will be our featured guests at this event.
Start Time: 17:00
Date: 2011-07-27
End Time: 19:30

Conservative Budget Forum

Title: Conservative Budget Forum
Location: Petra’s Restaurant, West Allis, Wisconsin
Description: The recent court decision affirming the fact that the governor and legislature can limit the privileges of union bargaining and monopoly practices in the schools, that are hurting the education of our children, has freed the governor and legislature to work towards better education and community fiscal integrity. In one budget, Governor Scott Walker had restored insanity to our budgets and gone from a 2.6 billion dollar deficit to a 300 million dollar surplus, placing Wisconsin’s budget into balance for the first time in a decade.
The big spending liberals that have controlled the budgets and policy of the last decade are gone, leaving behind a mess that Walker has solved in one budget. Now he is attacking the worst problem in the state fomented by the left wing, kids can’t read. It does little good to give kids in 4th grade a history book if they can’t read it. The supposed education people have run this state’s kids into the ditch over the last generation. Despite the fact that we have spent more and more money, less kids can read, do math and understand science. We must do better, our kids must do better, kids matter more than the education lobby.
Come and help us celebrate the court victory and the new direction of Wisconsin towards fiscal integrity, better education, honest elections and personal protection..
We have invited several other legislators to come and it all depends on whether the budget has passed out of the assembly into the senate by Saturday. We are also inviting other leading experts on the budget to come and inform us.
This program is for the leaders of our community from the Tea Party gang, the Conservatives and GOP leaders that are in the area. Remember, “Knowledge is Power” and that is why the Tea Party gang, the Conservative Digest, Reality News, The Center Right Coalition, The CRG network, Bob Spindell, Brad Courtney, Keith Best and many others are sponsoring these forums.
If we educate the leaders as to what is happening by these insider briefings they can take that info back to the community and write letters to the editor, write on the blogs, send out emails, speak to meetings and weigh in on the debate to our legislators.

Start Time: 07:30 A.M.
Date: 2011/06/18
End Time: 10:00 A.M.

Anti-Walker protests continue at Wisconsin capitol.

Liberal activists flocked the streets this week, to protest the budget proposal authored by the Republican state legislature.  Upon passage of this proposal, the Wisconsin budget will be balanced for the first time since 1993.  The protestors have concocted what they call “Walkerville’s” in front of the state capitol.  Columnists Kristin Adshead and Elizabeth Queram argue that the protestors have given the state capitol the feel of a “homeless village.”  The protestors have made it clear that they continue to demonstrate until their voices are heard.  For more information on this story, see the following: http://www.wisconsinreporter.com/protesters-give-capital-feel-of-homeless-village

Wisconsin legislature expected to vote on major legislation in the next month.

Later this month, the state legislature is expected to vote on two seminal legislative initiatives: concealed carry and a voter identification bill.  The latter would require all Wisconsin voters to show photo identification before voting.  The former, a bill to allow for concealed carry, was introduced on May 5, 2011, by freshman senator, Dr. Pam Galloway.  The following article, which was in the Wausau Herald, discusses Galloway’s proposal and the implications it will have on Wisconsin politics.  http://bit.ly/lxJjx3.  As for information becomes available on each of the aforementioned legislative initiatives, the Pax Americana Institute will keep you abreast.
